Trixie Shane Gabriel Maningding, the 21st century "Maria Clara", was born on January 19, 1999. She's now an aspiring model, a dancer, performer, blogger, writer, guitarist and a frustrated pianist. She continues to be a hundred and ten percent legit citizen of the Philippines.
EARLY LIFE
Shane admits that she developed the love for food. She had been devouring pizza, ice cream, fries, yogurt and chocolate. Later on, she started to became conscious about her weight that made her develop slimming habits and began working out. She started by a crush diet. "I ate vegetable salad without the dressing for breakfast and tried not to be tempt on eating foods with lots of carbohydrates the whole day." She recalls. Now, she lost 5 inches of her waistline and hipline but she doesn't reccomend what she did. "A balanced diet and regular exercise would still be the best thing." Shane recommends.
Shane confesses that she was somehow the "meanest of all mean." For whatever tiny reason, she wouldn't let anyone pay for what she had done. As far as she remembers, friends from her 6th grade considered her as a freak. Nonetheless, being cruel and mean made her know the importance of kindness. Now she's very friendly and approachable, depending on how other treat her.
EXCELLING IN SCHOOL
While she and her family was living at her grandparents' house, Shane enrolled at A1 Learning Center at the age of 4 where she excelled in English and Mathematics and graduated first honor.
By this, she was accelerated into Preparatory level. She also excelled and attained the same awards that made her accelerate into Grade 2. She continued grade school at JCSGO Christian Academy located at 15th Avenue, Cubao Quezon City where she graduated with honors and a loyalty award for 6 years of staying. She left her beloved school and transferred at Don Alejandro Roces Sr. Science-Technology High School where she continues to become a productive and hardworking student.
